02 — DATA WE COLLECT 02 — TOPLANAN VERİLER

Analog Buddy is designed with privacy by default. All data created within the app is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (Hive database). We do not operate any servers that collect personal data.

The following data is stored locally on your device:

Camera profiles you create (name, film ISO)
Film rolls and their frame counts
Frame entries including GPS coordinates (if you grant location permission)
App preferences (language selection)

03 — CAMERA ACCESS 03 — KAMERA ERİŞİMİ

Analog Buddy requests camera permission for two purposes:

Light Meter: The camera measures ambient light via AVCaptureDevice exposure metadata. No photos or video are recorded or stored during light metering.
Film Scanner: The camera processes film negatives in real time using Core Image. Processed images are only saved to your photo library upon explicit user action (tapping the capture button).

Camera access is optional. If denied, light metering and film scanning features will be unavailable, but all other features continue to function.

04 — LOCATION ACCESS 04 — KONUM ERİŞİMİ

Analog Buddy requests "When In Use" location permission to geo-tag film frames. GPS coordinates are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external server. Location data is only recorded when you tap the SNAP button.

Location access is optional. If denied, geo-tagging is disabled but all other features continue to function normally.

05 — PHOTO LIBRARY ACCESS

Analog Buddy requests "Add Only" photo library permission exclusively to save scanned film images via the Film Scanner feature. We do not read, access, or upload any photos from your library.

06 — ANALYTICS (FIREBASE) 06 — ANALİTİK (FİREBASE)

Analog Buddy may use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage statistics. This data helps us understand which features are most useful so we can improve the app.

Firebase Analytics collects:

Anonymous event counts (e.g. number of frames snapped, rolls created)
General device information (iOS version, device model category)
App session duration and crash reports

Firebase Analytics does not collect: names, email addresses, location data, photos, or any personally identifiable information. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

07 — THIRD PARTIES 07 — ÜÇÜNCÜ TARAFLAR

Analog Buddy does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only third-party service integrated is Firebase Analytics (see §06), which operates on anonymised data only.

08 — GDPR & KVKK 08 — GDPR ve KVKK

We are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698).

Since all identifiable data remains on your device and no personal data is transmitted to our servers, your rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) can be exercised by deleting the app or clearing its local data via iOS Settings.

09 — CHILDREN 09 — ÇOCUKLAR

Analog Buddy does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. The app does not target children and does not include advertising or in-app purchases directed at minors.

10 — CHANGES TO THIS POLICY 10 — POLİTİKA DEĞİŞİKLİKLERİ

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
